HIDA participates in Regional meeting on
Integrated Policy Making and Capacity Building

The East African Consultative Exercise on integrated policy making and capacity building took place on 20 to 21 July 2006 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Kigali , Rwanda . The Kigali meeting was meant to provide a forum for respective country teams to share their experience in mainstreaming the integrated policy making and capacity building framework in the past two years. Participants at the meeting included among others Ministers holding the Finance, Economic Planning and Public Service portfolios from Kenya , Uganda , Burundi and the host country Rwanda . Also in attendance were the Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Witwatersrand based in South Africa . The meeting was officially opened on July 21 2006 by His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda .
