To facilitate a programmatic approach to capacity building and the integration of development partners' support to the MSCBP, basket-funding mechanisms is envisaged to be established. Development partners will be consulted in the design and implementation of this fund to ensure that modalities, procedures and formats will be acceptable to them.

To date there is a Multi Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) which pools resources from the European Union, DFID and World Bank targeting support to MINECOFIN's public financial management reforms. The fund is managed by the World Bank and coordinated by HIDA.
